Okay guys, just a few updates:
Financing:We will be following the precedent which has been set over the last number of years regards Euro's, which is as follows:
Reg fee will be fully covered by the college as under the Schedule of Allowances.
As put on the website, for the reg fee "you will be provided with accommodation for 5 nights, be fed and entertained and get a chance to visit one of the prettiest cities of Europe."
As regards transport, as in previous years for Euro's, the university will cover 50% of your transport costs.
I'm currently trying to work out how booking flights and payement will work but I will let you know asap, just to give you a heads up.
Trials:As some of you may know, trials had been planned for Sunday 7th March, however due to the lack of availability of judges and the general logistical problems that would be created by having trials on the 7th, it has been decided that trials will be postponed.
An exact date is being decided but it is hoped to have them as soon as possible so as not to interfere with people's exams etc.
Trials being postponed in no way means the closing date for reg is being postponed. Reg still closes on Tuesday 2nd MarchRequirements:Just a heads up as regards requirements for Euro's. Once again there has been no final consensus but it is very likely that there will be a requirement to have attended a certain number of IV's as prep before Euro's. Once again, all details will be finalised.
Judging:People wishing to sign up as a judge should email their Judging C.V. listing their relevant speaking and judging achievments.
Speakers may sign up provisionally as judges too.
C.V.'s will be judged anonymously by an independent external judge.
I will post a closing date for C.V's as soon as a date for trials has been set.
C.V.'s should be sent to
litndeb@gmail.com with FAO: Eimear Spain in the subject line.
Just to keep you all in the loop of where everything is at

All questions should be emailed to
